AN/ARC-190(V) Airborne HF Communication System
Get the high-frequency communications mainstay of the U.S. Air Force – the ARC-190 system from Rockwell Collins. Designed for use in various military or commercial airborne applications that employ probe/cap, shunt or wire antennas, the system operates in the 2.0 to 29.9999 MHz frequency range. And it’s automatically tuned in to both receive and transmit modes.
Built-in test equipment and modular construction provide rapid fault isolation to the box and module levels for quick repair. The AN/ARC-190 has proven performance in a large variety of fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, including the C-130, C-20, KC-135, C-5, C-9, KC-10, B-1, B-52, C-17, E-3, E-4, E-8, F-15, F-16, H-53, H-60 and S-2T. Modes of operation are: USB, LSB, AME, CW, Data USB or Data LSB.
