King Air 350 FFS

  

On April 15, 2002, a Rockwell Collins King Air 350 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) achieved FAA Level D Qualification at the CAE SimuFlite Training Facility in Dallas/Ft Worth Airport, Texas. This device was the second of five to be delivered to CAE SimuFlite. The Simulation Host software operates under real-time LINUX on a Pentium COTS processor. The Instructor Operator Station software operates under Windows NT 4.0. The visual system for the King Air 350 FFS is an Evans and Sutherland 3350GT/SEOS display system. The digital 6-axis motion system is the Thales MK2 and the control loading is a Fokker Digital Electric system.
