Rockwell Collins introduces new Airshow customer web portal

LAS VEGAS (October 11, 2004) - Rockwell Collins today introduced a new web-based customer portal called MyAirshow.net™.  MyAirshow.net gives users of Airshow Network and Tailwind ®  TV a personalized tool to view and manage their subscriptions.

“MyAirshow.net is dynamic and customer data driven,” said Tim Rayl, senior director, Airshow Systems for Rockwell Collins.  “The portal as you see it today is really just the beginning – it’s a foundation that will grow to include other programming offerings such as licensed Hollywood movies.  MyAirshow.net will also be the primary interface for future users of Rockwell Collins eXchange data services.”

With MyAirshow.net, customers are able to view and edit their account information by individual aircraft, manage their Airshow Network profiles, select stocks and other financial information, as well as see their Tailwind TV programming options. For example, changes made to a stock profile via the portal take effect the next time the user requests an update from their aircraft via Airshow Network.  Future enhancements to the portal include real-time order status and tracking, secure software downloads, and even the ability for users to trial new applications – all with a click of a button from their own desktop.

MyAirshow.net is the latest enhancement of the Airshow Member Services Center (MSC) located at the Rockwell Collins facility in Tustin, Calif.  The MSC operates a highly available computing infrastructure with full redundancy to provide a portfolio of content feeds, including BBC, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, SportsTicker, and Intellicast Weather.  The center’s dedicated support staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure customer needs are addressed expeditiously.

A demonstration of the new portal is available at the Rockwell Collins booth, #12159, during the National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) Annual Meeting and Convention this week in Las Vegas.
Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) is a world leader in the design, production and support of communications and aviation electronics solutions for government and commercial customers worldwide.  Additional information is available at www.rockwellcollins.com.
