Rockwell Collins annual K-12 Partnership Program kickoff breakfast.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa (August 17, 2004) - Keynote speaker is Peggy Steffen, NASA Explorer School program manager. Rockwell Collins Chairman, President and CEO Clay Jones will also speak. In addition, outstanding volunteer awards will be presented to three Rockwell Collins employees.

A former teacher in all areas of high school science, Steffen was past president of the Iowa Science Teachers Association.   Previously, Steffen was an Einstein Fellow at NASA Headquarters from 2000 until 2002, where she assisted the educational technology and teacher enhancement programs.

Representatives from the partnership schools, Rockwell Collins volunteers, and community representatives and dignitaries will be in attendance.
