Three Rockwell Collins employees were recently honored for their excellence in engineering at the company's eighth annual
Engineer of the Year celebration. Those presented with 2010 Corporate Engineer of the Year awards were:
- Jan Heeren of Commercial Systems, a principal systems engineer in business and regional aircraft avionics, was recognized
for her innovative efforts in developing a consistent user interface for Rockwell Collins' business and regional aircraft
avionics suites.
- Curt Moore of Government Systems, a technical project manager in communication applications, was recognized for technical
contributions and leadership in the modernization of the ARC-210 radio system.
- Brian Herting of Engineering and Technology, a senior electrical engineer in antenna technology, was honored for significant
technical contributions toward weather radar antenna development.
The Rockwell Collins Engineer of the Year award recognizes engineers and scientists for demonstrating outstanding performance
