Rockwell Collins has been named one of Electronic Design magazine's "Top 50 Employers in Electronic Design." Our company placed fourth in the magazine's second annual ranking of the top 50 employers.

Last year's leader, Apple Inc., prevailed again. After that, the list bears little resemblance to the 2007 results. Some companies moved up the list dramatically, while others dropped down. According to the Electronic Design magazine article, "All 50 companies are standouts in the industry."

The list includes public companies. The magazine omitted other possible employers like universities and government agencies, since their non-profit nature excludes them from many of its criteria.
