Bruce M. King

Bruce M. King is vice president and general manager of Surface Solutions, Government Systems, for Rockwell Collins. King is responsible for all land and sea based systems solutions including ground vehicles, soldier solutions, maritime and fixed site solutions, Data Link Solutions (DLS), as well as technologies for Software Defined Radios (SDR) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). He was named to this position in January 2008.

Since joining the company in 1984, Mr. King has held various management positions of increasing responsibility, including director of C/KC-135 programs, GATM program manager and C/KC-135 Pacer CRAG program manager. He served as director of Air Mobility, Bombers and Special Mission Programs for Government Systems Integrated Applications in 2001. Most recently, Mr. King served as Vice President and General Manager of Communications Systems for Government Systems, where he was responsible for Rockwell Collins' military communications business. 
 
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, King earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University. 

He is a member of the Airlift Tanker Association, Association of the United States Army, Association of Old Crows, AFCEA and the Iowana Campfire Board.
